Bolt is the first Jamaican to win gold in the 100m. In previous Games, the country has captured silver three times: Herb McKenley in 1952, Lennox Miller in 1976 and Donald Quarrie in 1976.

Bolt is also entered in the 200 meters. First round heats in the event begin Monday.

asafas cousin was racin for barbados.. but i dont think he made it to tha finals if i remember correctly.

asafa is jamacan and his cousin comes from bahamas? why dis? but i guess his cousin was dat one who looked like him, only a likkle bit taller with a darker skin. yuh kkno who i mean. not chris brown, i other guy.

thx. topday was a vwery very sad day for jamaica, i guess. buckley wass 4th on mens 400m hurdles and kenia sinclair was only 6th on womens 800m run, altough she was 3rd until 100m before the end. what a pity

yo, today veronica campbell won womens 200m final!! and kerron stewart got the bronze medal.

and i guess, ja will also win both 4x100m relays after di bus isnt ion competion anymore!!! but i guess still then they would have no chance!and maybe usain would have a new wr with jamaica!! dats cool.
